Now that April 15 has come and gone some people are giving a large sigh of relief. But we must all consider that the IRS might ask for proof of our return figures - we call that an audit. Some times it is complex and you need legal help through the process. Sometimes it is simply in that you need to send in some documents. Not all audits are bad - I have a relative who was audited and received a check because the return was done incorrectly (no not be me - ha ha you so funny). USA Today has put out a great article on the issue. If you need help with the IRS just call me at 616- 951-1LAW. Todd G.
